Hi, folks, Libtiff 3.7.0alpha was released today. Source code packages available at the our FTP site: ftp://ftp.remotesensing.org/pub/libtiff/tiff-3.7.0alpha.tar.gz ftp://ftp.remotesensing.org/pub/libtiff/tiff-3.7.0alpha.zip This release features significant changes in the build environment. We are using GNU autotools now and I think that compilation process will be simpler and cleaner on the most modern platforms. MSVC makefiles also was reworked and improved. Please, try it and report any build problems you encounter. Another visible improvement is in the tiffset utility. Now it can be used to set any TIFF tags either by tag number or mnemonic name.
