Hi,

Has anyone done tiff to gif conversions, at least for bilevel images?
I have been attempting to use the gifencode code in ppmtogif.c in the
netpbm library but have gotten mixed success.

It works for single page fine resolution (i.e. 196 lines per inch) files
but for two page fine resolution files it always screws up the second
page.  Also for standard resolution (i.e. 98 lines per inch) the gif
looks quite screwy, like it has been blurred.

Any help would be most appreciated!
