The number 64 would not be as meaningful as the 42 is. At least, 42 is
considered to be the answer to the last of all questions (*). One way to
change the number but keep the meaning would be to use the hexadecimal
number 0x42 (= 66). Or you may use another base (e.g. base 64 would
yield 0x102 (= 258)).

You see, there is plenty of discussions left ;-)
