Hi,
    Thanks  for the reply. Ok,  I didn't go through the code of
raw2tiff, yes a quick glance now shows it can't strip out
the bitmap headers of a bmp file.  I was able to write code which will
call the
TiffWriteEncoderStrip(...) on the pixel bytes and do the job for me.
Bmp2tiff(untried) in the sourceforge will be useful.
