I have  a Windows XP system using Microsoft FAX that receives and stores
multipage TIFFs. I can see the pages in viewers that support multiple pages.
When I try to use tiffsplit on the TIFF, it creates a single "...aaa.tif"
file that is about the same size as the original multipage TIFF, but seems
to contain only the first page. I have downloaded and compiled tiffsplit on
the XP box and I have tried putting the TIFF file on a Red Hat Enterprise
Linux 2.1 box and using tiffsplit there - same result. The version of
tiffsplit that I downloaded was 3.6.1-2.
