Would you folks please care a bit more for proper quoting style? You've
just sent a 13 KB message adding a 7 word sentence to the conversation.
That's about 2.000 bytes per word. The totally redundant quoting is
furthermore a badly mixed set of non-standard quoting styles and
multiple font selection that doesn't relate to actual content. The
complete message is totally unreadable.

Please consider the following old-time rules:

- Configure your mail client to send plain text only to newsgroups and
mailing lists (and me, please).

- A space is good where word-wrap is acceptable
, otherwise you get nonsense like this further down the road
!

- Quote prefix is a single '>' followed by a single space

- Quote a trimmed version of exactly the snippet you reply to, and reply
below that. A good rule of thumb is that your quote should usually not
be larger then your answer. Remember that most of us follow many
conversations in many newsgroups or mailing lists, so good quoting this
serves clarity for the reader and aids memory, but good quoting should
also be neatly trimmed so as to not waste your reader's time, and
precede your answer so as to not require 5 minutes of scrolling,
decoding and reconstructing!

- Separate your quotes and your own paragraphs with a single empty line,
as that increases the speed at which a reader can process your message
greatly.

- 'Act' is a verb, as in to act, meaning to do something. 'Actually' is
a very different word. Your hipster 12 year old pals might understand
you, but that's not the audience present here.

Please realize that lots of folks in this mailing have very busy jobs,
and are totally put off by messages that require 5 minutes to decode
only to discover in the midst of the quoted filth there is this one
sentence of actual communication saying you don't happen to use that
function. Most furthermore are around since before HTML ever infested
e-mail. Help us process your mail quicker by applying a more standard
style, and your audience and impact and level of appreciation in the
group will greatly benefit from it.

I'm sure I'm speaking for everyone, except for the one or two who will
reply to my message that I'm just being nasty, and the single smartass
who will rightly point out that I'm wasting a lot of reader's time with
this message too.

Best regards,

Joris Van Damme
