I am new here and I have a problem when trying to convert a pdf to tiff, can anyone please kindly give me some suggestion.

If you want something open source, then try Ghostscript + GraphicMagick or Xpdf + GraphicsMagick.

If you want a commercial solution, try our PSServices (http://www.apago.com).
