I'm new to the group, so I thought I'd make my first post interesting....

Does anyone know of/have code or p-code that shows how to encode/decode a TIFF file; specifically a G4 TIFF. I have software that will do all this, but the library is enormous to load in memory. I'm aiming to write a simple set of code that will merely read a TIFF from disk and display it on the screen. Nothing terribly fancy; just open and view it. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

By end of this week (approximatley) I'll have a PostScript procset which may be used to display any baseline tiff file on the screen using Ghostscript.
