LibTiff Mailing List

Same error with just:
 ./configure --prefix $HOME/local --enable-shared \
--with-x && make && make install

There are 'tiff' utility programs, but I cannot find the libtiff
library:

$ locate libtiff
/System/Library/Tcl/Img1.3/libtifftcl1.0.dylib
/System/Library/Tcl/Img1.3/libtifftclstub1.0.a

Seems to be for TCL, however Im compiling libtiff for use with GTK2.6.
