That's odd - the JPEG in TIFF code shouldn't have changed with CS or CS2. But, of course, there's always the possibility of another compiler bug.

Have you tested files created on Macintosh and Windows to see if they both give the same result?

yes, JPEG-in-TIFF generated by Windows and Mac OS X Photoshop CS2

produce the same results.

And was this with grayscale or RGB images?
