When an image shows up with blasted out pink and green, 
I always suspect a confusion over RGB vs. YCbCr.  

This image has tags for both :

> [...]  
> Photometric Interpretation: RGB color
> YCbCr Subsampling: 2, 2
> [...]  


My guess is that it should be 

"Photometric Interpretation: YCbCr"

And things would work a lot better. 



TiffTechNote 2 requires that if the underlying JPEG compression 
uses YCbCr, then the TIFF layer must tell the truth and say it 
is a YCbCr image and not lie (for compatibility) and say it is RGB.
