Unfortunately, LeadTools has lots of company when it comes to bogus
type-6 TIFF writing. It's amazing how creatively the type-6 spec has
been interpreted by some folks. Bad enough that the spec itself is
ambiguous, but most of the files I've seen have demonstrable violations
of the parts that aren't ambiguous!
I'd strongly recommend that you give up on type-6 TIFFs as a hopelessly
lost cause. There is no compatible file format there, just a babel of
mutually incompatible (mis)implementations.

I'd be glad to look if you want, but I think you've already identified
the problems....
