I have a question about fax images. What is the standard resolution for low- and high-resolution fax images? Where can I find official information about that?

Horizontal: 8 pixels/mm (203.2 pixels/inch)

Vertical:
  Regular: 3.85 lines/mm (97.79 lines per inch)
  Fine: 7.70 lines/mm (195.58 lines per inch)

These are buried in CCITT specs, FASCICLE VII.3 Recommendations T.0-T.63.
