Dear all,
First thanks for your prompt reply.
Second, I have tried to install libtiff through the exe file but the Gnu32 doesn't have neither lib not include folders that have the .h, .lib and dll files.
I also tried to built it using the unzipped folder and nmake but i got a runtime error that the .obj, .lib...etc do not exist to make a successful built
so am I downloading the wrong incomplete version or what am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance,
Essraa

Dear All,
Can someone kindly please guide me step by step on how to install and link to libtiff using Microsoft Visual Studio.NET
Another question, does the TiffReadRGBImage work?
Looking forward to your reply,
Essraa

Essraa,
The section:
http://libtiff.maptools.org/build.html
describes how to build libtiff on windows.
It is left an exercise for the software developer to figure out how
to build and link against a set include files and a .lib file.

Yes, in general. Do you have some specific concern? The function
does have limitations.
Best regards,
