I'm wondering if anyone here has built libtiff on a 64-bit MS Visual 
Studio 2008 platform before.  (?)

I'm having some trouble with building 3.8.2 in that environment (no 
problem with it on 32-bit), and if upgrading to 3.9.0 (beta) or 4.0.0 
(alpha) is the solution, then I'll go that route.  Otherwise, I'll do 
the porting work with 3.8.2 directly.
