Has anyone tried to use/modify/add-on libtiff to read DiCOM 3.0 images?
DICOM is a medical standard for information, and part of it is for images.
It supports just about everything that TIFF does (including LZW compression
and JPEG compression), and its own set of TAGS.  I was hoping that someone
has tried to adapt libtiff for this purpose.  If not, I guess I will try.
