Thread2004.08.29 16:15 "libtiff on Windows", by <michaeljjohnson@cox.net>Hello, I would like to use libtiff to read, process and write large 48bit per pixel TIFF images on a Win2000 and WinXP platform. Having been to your libtiff.html web page and downloaded much of the material pointed to by that page, I got confused by yet another page "Gnu Win32 Project" which it seemed I needed to learn, too, in order to use libtiff. So I have two sets of questions - 1) Can I use libtiff to read, process and write 48 bit per pixel (16 bits per R, G and B) images? That are about 500 MByte files? On a Windows platform? 2) Is there someone I can contact who would be willing to guide me about how to install and compile libtiff using my Visual C++ compiler? Thanks very much, Michael Johnson Cloud Watchers Phoenix, AZ |
