Hi out there,

hopefully this is not a faq and appropriate for this list.

I am looking for a piece of code to convert from windows .bmp files to
tiff. Any pointers?  (Or maybe s.o. has a description of the .bmp format,
so I could write the converter and contibute it ?!)
