You seem to be setting a trend of asking very general, non-TIFF-specific questions. If you continue in this manner, you're likely to start annoying people (and then you certainly won't get the answers you're looking for ;-).

For more general programming concerns, and example code that is often quite insightful, I would recommend you try www.codeproject.com or www.codeguru.com or other similar sites. If you have TIFF-specific problems or questions, post here with details so the other list users can try to help you.
