Hi,

 

We receive documents in TIFF format and distribute them in TIFF or PDF
format to our customers. We have a request to create editable PDF
documents. I have following questions.

1.	Is there an open-source API and library that I can use for
creating editable PDFs?
2.	In particular, can I use tiff2pdf that comes with latest libtiff
release for creating an editable PDF?
3.	I need additional information on requirements for creating
editable PDFs from a tiff image. Any details/pointers to creating
editable PDFs will be useful.
