There will be a libtiff 4.0.4 release within the next week or two. I encourage interested parties to check out libtiff from CVS (see instructions at http://www.remotesensing.org/libtiff/) and verify that no problems have been added since the previous release (which is from September 22, 2012).

The CVS code has recently undergone another round of fixes for issues noticed by Coverity and there are currently zero reported defects for libtiff and its tools. Fixes were even made to the various 'contrib' code which is built, and issues only remain with contrib/addtiffo (due to lack of error checking).

Please report any regressions.
