Trying to generate a bitmap from a tiff-image using either 

TIFFReadScanline
or
TIFFReadEncodedStrip

from TIFFLib 3.7.0 leads to bad results when changing the resolution from
200 to 300 dpi.

When we reduce the imagewidth somehow it works again. The images can be
displayed by standard TIFF-viewers without any problem. 

What can we do?
