Hi,

I'm trying to build libTiff on a Unix machine running Solaris 2.8. I interested in the tiffdump tool. I can get it to build, but I have to set up my LD_LIBRARY_PATH to include the libTiff libraries. What changes must I make to the configure script and/or Makefiles to build libTiff with static libraries.
