there is a recommendation for RowsPerStrip.

On page 39 of TIFF Revision 6.0 Final June 3, 1992 is written:

"... Choose RowsPerStrip such that each strip is about 8K bytes, even if the data is not compressed, since it makes buffering simpler for reader. The "8K" value is fairly arbitrary, but seems to work well."

It is a little bit short. Through that the CCITT T.6 data expands, a program works slower, but it is written.

I do not know whether there is a existent reader which need it.
