Can anyone confirm or refute this? John, It certainly looks like you are right, and that the tif_ojpeg.c is currently unbuildable in 3.8.0. Unfortunately, the tif_ojpeg.c isn't getting much love these days. If you would care to submit a patch to fix this up (using TIFFGetField() to fetch the value when needed) then I'm sure we could at least apply it.
