Not complete the right list but does anybody know a testset of images encapsulated in PDF format. Preferably generated from different applications.

I've got a LARGE collection of PDF test files up at <ftp://pdffiles:pdffiles@cube.lazerware.com> that you are welcome to go through for images. They come from many walks of life, not all have images, but each has something interesting about it...
