Does anyone know how to convert existing TIFF's or create new TIFF files with a single stripped format? The reason that I ask is that currently we are creating multi-stripped TIFF files from AFP print streams. The Tiff's are not compatible to a viewer that we have. The vendor of this TIFF viewer is saying that only single stripped TIFFs are compatible. I know that single stripped TIFF's take alot of memory in PC's, that is why multi-stripped TIFF's are more efficient in I/O buffering and have more editing flexibility. Is there an active X control or dll that handles this?

You might use the tiffcp utility to convert the images to single-strip images.
