It runs on Win9x and (probably) NT. Most other applications (commercial or free) simply treat TIFF images as if they had TIFFTAG_ORIENTATION set to 1 (the default) or map orientations values from 5 to 8 somehow into the range 1 to 4 or do "what they mean the user would accept". You could get a PostScript procset containing a tiffshow.ps script that works with Ghostscript and does it conforming to the TIFF V6 spec (at least I hope so).
