OK, so I am nit pciking, but IR 2.0 will also *write* out ZIP/Deflate compressed TIFFs. Also, I had problems with PS 5.5 reading ZIP compressed TIFFs. Perhaps I did something wrong with thte latter. I am using the Macintosh versions of IR and PS. Are you using the Windows versions of the same? I wouldn't be surprised if there are minor differences in the functionality of these two programs across different platforms.

I have Windows version only. And for saving TIFF images there is no button to choose Deflate compression scheme.
