Thank you Rob Tillaart and Gerben for their timely guidance on Tiffcrop.c.
Let me experience the Tiffcrop now onwards. Actually I am intended to copy a
rectangular portion of image and then write this rectangle part on another
image. Thanks again...
Regards,
Madhav

libtiff is not a general imaging library, it is like libpng and libjpegand
only provides methods to read and write data from TIFF files. The
interpretation of the bytes as pixels is left to the user.
You can either implement this yourself on top of libtiff, or use a
moregeneral library such as ImageMagick or vips. If you use libtiff, it
willsave work if you know you will always be processing CMYK images and
noother colour spaces.
If an external program is acceptable to use, tiffcrop may be able to dowhat
you want.
Gerben.

Hi Madhav,
Please take a look at the tiffcrop utility  see:
http://www.remotesensing.org/libtiff/man/tiffcrop.1.htmlThe sources are
available from http://download.osgeo.org/libtiff/tiff-3.9.2.zip in a subdir
called tools.
Succes,
Rob Tillaart

Libtiff caused this doubt...?  Or, How can I do that?> Thank You,>
