      When I try to rewrite several times the same page of a TIFF file with 
the same data (hard coded raw byte stream) the resulting TIFF file grows in 
size and cannot be read. This happens only on embedded Linux 2.6.16.28-arcom1 
(the target), the same program compiled on a PC with openSuSE 10.3 (the host) 
runs without errors. I have verified that the tiff library (3.8.2) is the 
same on both host and target.
      Could you give any suggestions to solve this problem?
