The EFF is unlikely to help. They are primarily concerned with
influencing the law, or obtaining judgements which set precedent to
effecively influence the law.

I was once threated with a lawsuit by a similar predator (who claimed
that "USENET" and "CAMPING" were some of his trademarks and also had
thousands of registered domains) for trademark infringement by my open
source package. The EFF did not help. I finally did prevail due to
the kindness of strangers.
