Could you tell me how I can convert doc file (MS Word document) or text file (Notepad) or other (for example MS Excel) to tiff format.

You need to render the file's contents to a graphic somehow, and then write that graphic out as a TIFF file.

Is there any free solution for that problem? I'm interesting with external solution (application with API), but especially want to do it in my asp.net application in C#, so I need a example source code that could do it.

I don't think you're going to find the kind of trivial plug-it-in-and-go sample code that people posting this type of question are typically looking for.

You might find some code to do something like run some VBA script to have Microsoft Word print a Word document to a TIFF file via a special print driver or something like that, but that's not quite the same thing, and you'll have to have your lawyers look very closely at the license agreements of any applications you're "driving" to see whether they can be used this way.
