Greetings:
 
I am currently extracting images from an image repository. Some of these
are in TIFF and some are in PDF. Is there a way to tell which is which,
i.e. I want to know if an image that I extract is a TIFF to convert to
PDF. If its a PDF no need to convert.
 
The repository does not store file types, so I need a way to tell.
