All requests for mailing list actions should be sent to
tiff-request@sgi.com not the list itself.
(the software used is Majordomo 1.93) Sending help in the body of a message
will give you a list of available list commands.

The command to for you to leave the list is "unsubscribe" and must be in
the body of the message not the subject, so the email for leaving the list
should look something like:

  To: tiff-request@sgi.com
  Subject: 
  Body: UNSUBSCRIBE
