Thread2005.02.15 07:46 "Regarding the decoding of RGB TIFF images.", by Noida Chinku Miandad MHi all, I am doing the decoding of uncompressed RGB TIFF images. The image is of a big endian type. The value of the "SamplesPerPixel" tag is 3 and the "BitsPerSample" value is 8, 8, 8. The value of the "Planar Configuration" tag is also 1. This means that the image data is stored in the chunky format, i.e. RGB RGB RGB RGB RGB.............right???? But I am not able to get the decoded image properly. I am sure that I am reading the correct values from the file. is there any necessity of some kind of swapping???? I am getting the correct decoded image in the case of little endian files having the same properties. What could be the reason??? with regards, Chinku Miandad M Member Technical Staff HCL technologies A-5, Sector 24 Noida, Uttar Pradesh - 201301 http://www.hcltechnologies.com Office Phone: +91-120-2411502, Ext.: 2341 mobile - 9871340518 |
