Thread2005.02.10 21:12 "Regarding the decoding of uncompressed GrayScale images.", by Noida Chinku Miandad MHi, I need to decode an uncompressed GrayScale image. I am able to read the image data from the image file properly. The "BitsPerSample" value is 8. i.e, one byte per pixel. How should I interpret that data in order to convert it into RGB data??? By using the same byte value for the R, G and B values, will I be able to get the proper decoded RGB output??? Or is there some mechanism to convert the read pixel value into the R, G and B values???? Any help will be deeply appreciated. with regards, Chinku Miandad M Member Technical Staff HCL technologies A-5, Sector 24 Noida, Uttar Pradesh - 201301 http://www.hcltechnologies.com Office Phone: +91-120-2411502, Ext.: 2341 mobile - 9871340518 |
