Hello. I am in need of your assistance. I am getting an error most every time I process tiff files (CCITTG3/4).

Below is the following error / warning:

TIFFReadDirectory: Warning, /mtr/DOCS/DOC28/00234467.001: unknown field with tag 292 (0x124) encountered.

Is there a way to suppress these unknown tag warnings without having to pipe STDERR to /dev/null?

What libtiff-based application are you running which is printing these warnings? How libtiff warnings are handled is application-dependent.
