The version of the tiff2ps tool (in version 3.3beta) is able to preserve
LZW compression into a PostScript level 2 file using the /LZWDecode filter.

Unfortunately, it only works for monochrome images with a min-is-black
photometric.

Has anyone done any work to preserve the LZW compression in grayscale, RGB and
palette color images as well?
