Hello, what is the meaning of the define JPEG_LIB_MK1?

There is a development version of libjpeg (based on 6b) in the same CVS repository as libjpeg which supports 8 and 12 bit bits/sample in the same build. Unfortunately, this libjpeg was never quite completed and since there is now a JPEG 7 release and a JPEG 8 under development, I am afraid that the project has become orphaned.
