Hello Frank and Mateusz Loskot, Thanks for the reply. yesterday, When I was running nmake, I used to receive fcntl.h file missing( tiffiop.h(36) : fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'fcntl.h': No such file or directory). Today, I successfully built the lib and dll files. I realised the before running VC++ in command mode, one has to run "VCVARS32.BAT" file and set environmental variables. Today. I made couple of changes and built the lib and dll files successfully. Thank you, Have a nice day. Harsha, Perhaps you should expand on the problem you are seeing with the supported build approach. In addition to providing the error messages you are encountering, you should be explicit about what version of libtiff you are building.
