As I was hacking PostScript code to dieal with TIFF images directly at that time, I didn't bother to correkt this but and used my PS code instead. If you're interested, you could get these PS procsets by e-mail on request. It's free under the GPL and includes a utility to convert TIFF images to EPS (without preview) and could be run under both ghostscript or distiller.
