Libtiff 3.9.0 is now released. Please read about it at http://www.remotesensing.org/libtiff/v3.9.0.html. Source packages are available at ftp://ftp.remotesensing.org/pub/libtiff and will soon be available at mirror sites. Libtiff 3.9.0 is produced from the 'branch-3-9' branch in the libtiff CVS repository. Its focus is to provide existing users of libtiff 3.8.2 (and earlier) with a stable libtiff which incorporates bug and security fixes. Please report any bugs according to the procedure documented at http://www.remotesensing.org/libtiff/bugs.html.
