LibTiff Mailing List

I need more information about floating point sample format.

Are TIFFTAG_SMINSAMPLEVALUE (340) and TIFFTAG_SMAXSAMPLEVALUE (341) intended 
for use with floating point samples?

If so, than how do you scale sample values when they are not included?
