Hello,

I have some Encapsulated poscript files (.EPS) that I would like to convert to a common graphic format (tiff or jpg) for viewing and printing. I've tried to convert them with ghostscript and have had limited luck, so was wondering if anyone has some ideas for a simple conversion program, no viewing of the postscript required. I notice that my campus Unix system (Sun Solaris 5.6) has ps2ascii and ps2pdf commands, but no ps2tiff command. Does anyone know where I could get find the source (or better yet a compiled version) of ps2tiff for unix. I downloaded and installed the Tiff tools from

        ftp://ftp.sgi.com/graphics/tiff/tiff-v3.4beta037.tar.gz

but only saw a tiff2ps command, not a ps2tiff command.

Thanks,
 Matt
