Sorry, I'm not familiar enough with how those tag definitions are supposed to work. At first glance, it seems like there might be a problem in the field definition. Since no one else on this list has offered any suggestions, then my best advice is to first try again with the latest libtiff 4.0 beta to see if the problem has been fixed. If not, then please log a bug with all relevant files and info at http://bugzilla.maptools.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=libtiff
