Could you check that image? The Photometric is BlackIsZero, but I guess it should be RGB.
It is interesting that BitsPerSample and SampleFormat have 3 values, and the file size is also compatible with a RGB double image.

You are correct that the photometric interpretation is set wrong. It should be RGB. However, MINISBLACK is also a legitimate photometric interpretation for multi-sample files... it just obscures how the samples can be treated in combination to form colors.
