Hi,

I have faced several problems in using free TIFF software viz,

1) During installation following error message is displayed.

"Error creating registry
key:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\GnuWin32

RegCreateKeyEx failed; code 5
Access is denied"

Please suggest method to cope with the problem stated above.

That is probably related to GnuWin32 binary releases of the libtiff software. We are not responsible for that build, ask the GnuWin32 team what goes wrong in yuor case.

2) How to run .exe i.e. each .exe in bin directory to be run independently.( Except 1st one, no other .exe waits for any user input)

Yes, all those tools are non-interactive. Open command line console and run them from that one (or from the script).

3) Please specify syntax of the command line argument list to be fed to the application as input.

You can find HTML help pages under the html/man directory of the source tarball (I don't know whether the GnuWin32 packages include those pages). Also you can find the same pages on our site (http://www.remotesensing.org/libtiff/). Moreover, every utility prints the short help message being started without any options.
