         the Unisys patent on LZW has expired, everywhere.

Hi, My Tiff to PDF generator is using libtiff to extract TIFF files, it uses libtiff and it works for LZW compressed TIFF files. Am I in any danger of violating a unisys patent by using this libtiff code? I've looked around for info but am still confused about this.
