Our reading of this allows the use of LZW without licence in countries where the patent has expired. If you export to a country where it the patent is still in force then we believe a licence is still required and it would be advisable to contact Unisys.
There aren't any more such countries. The last Unisys LZW patent expired on July 7, 2004.
